Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Gooch & Housego PLC (AIM: GHH), the specialist manufacturer of optical components and systems, is pleased to announce that Louise Evans has been appointed to the Company’s Board as a Non-Executive Director, and Chair of the Audit Committee, with effect from 11th May 2020.
Louise brings extensive experience from her strategic leadership roles in both listed and privately owned technical engineering groups. She has substantial expertise in the areas of financial management and M&A as well as the implementation of internal control and risk management frameworks.
Louise is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of AIM-quoted AB Dynamics plc and a Board advisor to low carbon commodity broker SCB Group.
Louise was Group Finance Director of Braemar Shipping Services plc from 2015 to 2018 and previously Group Financial Director of Williams Grand Prix Holdings plc. Louise is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
