Change of Name and New Website

Further to the announcement of 30 April 2020, the Board of the Company wishes to confirm that its change of name has taken effect.  Accordingly, trading in the Company’s ordinary shares on AIM under the new name, BiON plc, will commence at 8.00 a.m. BST today and the Company’s TIDM will change to “BION”.

The adoption by the Company of a new name follows the recent management changes and refocusing of the business, and reflects its vision to become a leading provider of renewable energy and clean technology solutions based on excellence in environmental engineering. The Company’s core focus continues to be on the development of biogas power plants – either as an independent power producer or an EPCC contractor – to generate renewable energy from the treatment of palm oil mill effluent. BiON is also expanding its strategy to achieve sustainable growth through pursuing complementary activities that leverage the Company’s extensive experience in waste treatment and environmental engineering in Southeast Asia. The Board looks forward to reporting on its progress in due course.
